February 2, 2026 — Molchanovs proudly launches the Yanita Women’s Springsuit, a new performance wetsuit designed in collaboration with Bulgarian freediving athlete and underwater dancer Yanita Yancheva. The springsuit blends elite-level functionality with a refined, feminine aesthetic created for women who move with purpose in and around the water.

Designed as a second skin, the Yanita Women’s Springsuit reflects Yanita’s journey from rhythmic gymnastics to elite freediving, from competing in the reality TV series Survivor Bulgaria to record-setting performances beneath the surface. At its core, the design represents the balance between softness and power, an idea shaped by years of athletic discipline, personal growth, and transformative encounters in the ocean.

“This springsuit is a reflection of my journey from rhythmic gymnastics to Survivor, to becoming a freediving record holder,” says Yanita. “The design represents the connection between softness and power.”

Inspired by the Ocean’s Duality

One of the defining moments behind the design came during an expedition when Yanita found herself floating between an orca above and silky sharks below, an experience that captured the harmony of elegance and strength found in the ocean.

“Floating between such strength and elegance reminded me that the ocean teaches us balance and this is what inspired the design,” she explains.

That philosophy is embedded into every detail of the springsuit, from its sculpted silhouette to its technical construction.

Designed for Performance, Made for Women

Crafted from premium 2mm Yamamoto 39 neoprene, the Yanita Women’s Springsuit delivers exceptional flexibility, warmth, and comfort across a range of water activities from freediving and surfing to swimming and ocean exploration. Extended sleeves with thumb holes provide added UV protection for long days on the water, while full upper-body coverage shields the shoulders, chest, and back both above and below the surface.

A back zipper with a pull cord allows for easy self-donning, and the snug, adaptive fit is designed to mold naturally to the body with use. The striking white base with blue accents enhances the female form and photographs beautifully underwater, making the springsuit as visually powerful as it is functional.

“For me, the perfect springsuit must feel like a second skin—functional, comfortable, yet feminine,” Yanita says. “Every woman deserves to feel powerful and graceful in her body.”

A Collaboration Rooted in Shared Values

Yanita’s connection with Molchanovs began at her very first freediving competition, where she earned three white cards and set three Bulgarian national records in just three days while wearing Molchanovs equipment. Over time, that connection grew into a collaboration grounded in shared values: discipline, respect for the ocean, and the belief that freedom comes through conscious practice.

“From the very beginning, I saw Molchanovs as more than just a brand,” Yanita reflects. “They are a community with soul, mission, and vision.”

The Yanita Women’s Springsuit also marks a milestone for the brand, as the first Molchanovs product named after an athlete besides Natalia Molchanova herself, signaling a continued commitment to representation, inclusivity, and women-led design in freediving and watersports.

More Than a Springsuit

Beyond performance, the Yanita Women’s Springsuit is a symbol of empowerment. It is designed for women who seek confidence, elegance, and presence in the water—and who see the ocean not as something to fear, but as a space for freedom and connection.

“I want this springsuit to inspire women to discover the ocean as a place for strength, beauty, and freedom,” Yanita says. “Limits exist only in our minds.”
