Molchanovs Fest - Dahab!
Let’s dive! Molchanovs freediving instructors welcome all to participate in a true freediving holiday at the Molchanovs fest which takes place 29 April – 8 May in our beloved Dahab.
The Molchanovs family will gather on the beaches of Dahab for the almost limitless depth of the famous Blue Hole, and we can’t wait to meet freedivers of all levels and experiences. Our instructors will have opportunities to share diving secrets with those more advanced, and envy the novices preparing to explore the wonders of breath-hold diving and attain personal bests one after the other.
It is pure pleasure to study in the perfect conditions of the Blue Hole. During this fest, you can choose freediving courses between levels 2 to 4 of the Molchanovs Waves course or specialized training dives for advanced deep divers. We invite everyone to become a bit closer to the underwater world at the Molchanovs fest – jointly organized by Molchanovs and the Russian Freediving Federation.
You will feel more comfortable during this course if you have completed at least a basic freediving course in a pool. Having even a basic understanding of freediving and its key theories would enhance your experiences on a depth focused freediving course, making it more enjoyable.
To get acclimatized to the conditions we suggest you arrive in Egypt several days before the course starts, and stay longer after the end to fully enjoy sunny Dahab.
What you can expect during the festival
- An option of Waves 2 to 4 from the Molchanovs Freediving System;
- Safe depth training for athletes;
- Our traditional swimming marathon in Blue Hole;
- Master-classes from freediving instructors;
- Sharing of advanced secrets for freedivers who can dive 50 m and deeper;
The program of the fest will vary depending on possibilities and wishes of the group. Feel free to make personal requests! We will try our best to fit them in the schedule to help you reach your goals.
You will be certificated according to the performed results. For certification, you should pass theory exam and fulfill course expectations in the disciplines STA, CWT, CNF.

Getting there
The easiest way to Dahab is via Sharm el-Sheikh. We can organize a transfer from the airport in Sharm el-Sheikh to Dahab for you. For that, please email us your name and surname, your flight number, arrival time and a contact phone number which will work when you come. The cost of the transfer is 15 euro and should be paid on arrival.

Having freediving or suitable scuba equipment is highly recommended for your comfort and education.
Cost of participation
- 490 euro for 10 educational days;
- 440 euro for freedivers who have completed Wave 4
Transfer to the place of diving is included. The payment should be made on the first day of the fest.
